Аннотация
Исследование посвящено английскому исследователю коренных народов Енисейского Севера, Марии Чаплицка и Генри Холлу, ставшему ее спутником и антропологом в Енисейской (Оксфордской) экспедиции. Она молодая польская девушка, которая отправилась в Сибирь в качестве руководителя
экспедиции, в результате подготовила ценную книгу на эту тему. Чаплицка стала первой женщиной-преподавателем Оксфордского университета. Она работала в Лондоне и путешествовала по Сибири, проводя обширные полевые исследования в эпоху, когда женщины вообще не занимались ни научными исследованиями, ни экспедициями. Она также была опытным фотографом. Личность Марии Чаплицка уникальна.
Ее работы остаются актуальными. Иностранные ученые обращаются к ее исследованиям более ста лет, но она малоизвестна в современной России. Хотя она родилась и прожила большую часть жизни в Российской Империи. Авторы обращаются к личности Марии Чаплицка и ее работам. Целью работы является определение значения исследований Енисейской экспедиции. Коллекции, собранные в ходе экспедиции хранятся в Музее археологии и антропологии Пенсильванского университета и Оксфордском музее этнографии и археологии Питта Риверса и составляют около 600 предметов этнографии, археологии и изображений. Исследования М. Чаплицкой являются вкладом в этнографию Сибири. Публикация выполнена при финансовой поддержке КГАУ «Красноярский краевой фонд gоддержки научной и научно-технической деятельности» и РФФИ, проект № 16-11-24009 а(р) – «Туруханский край: освоение и изучение в конце XVIII – начале XX в.»

Abstract
The study is devoted to Maria Czaplicka who was British researcher of aborigines of the Yenisei North and Henry Hall, which was her satellite and anthropologist in expedition on the Yenisei North. She is a young Polish girl who went to northeastern Siberia as the head of an expedition and later published a much appreciated book on the subject. She is being greatly honored in England and is the first woman to act as lecturer in the University of Oxford. She was based in London, and travelled to Siberia, doing extensive fieldwork there in an era where women were not generally engaged in either scientific research or exploration. She was also a skilled photographer. Maria Chaplitska’s identity is unique. Her works remain actual and today. Foreign scientists address her researches more than hundred years.
She is little known in modern Russia. Though she was born and has carried out the most part of life in the Russian Empire. The authors refer to the personality of Maria Czaplicka and her works. The aim of the study is to determine the value of this trip and its contribution to the ethnographic research of this regions. Collect during the expedition are stored in the Museum of Archeology and Anthropology of the University of Pennsylvania and the Oxford Museum of Ethnography and Archeology of Pitt Rivers.
There are about 600 items of ethnography, archeology and images. The research of M. Czaplicka is a contribution to the ethnography of Siberia.

Аннотация
В публикации рассматривается проблема особенностей авторской обработки и аутентичности смысловых доминант в литературном переложении эпических и бытовых хакасских сказок, принадлежащих
будущему переводчику хакасского эпоса И. С. Кычакову и писателю-романисту А. И. Чмыхало. На основе
исследования собственно этнокультурных элементов текста, примет его талантливого авторизованного
перевода и художественной обработки делается вывод о выраженном авторском начале и смене древней
мифо-исторической смысловой доминанты сказания на мифо-социальную смысловую доминанту советского периода.

Abstract
The paper considers the problem of peculiarities characterizing author’s adaptation and authenticity of
semantic dominants in the literary versification of epic and realist Khakassian folk tales by I. S. Kychakov, a future
translator of the Khakassian epos, and A.I Chmykhalo, a novelist. Based on the research into the proper ethnic and
cultural text elements, hallmarks of its talented author’s translation and artistic adaptation, the conclusion is made
on the expressed author’s threshold and replacement of the ancient mythological and historic semantic dominant
of the legend by the mythological and social semantic dominant of the Soviet period.

Аннотация
Исследования среди коренных малочисленных народов Средней Сибири показали тесную связь между проводимой государством алкогольной политикой и демографией этих народов. Оказалось, что ограничения в поставке алкоголя в северные регионы немедленно приводит к улучшению демографических показателей – рождаемость растет, смертность падает, улучшаются другие демографические характеристики. Особенно влияет алкоголь на раннюю смертность мужчин. Свыше 2/3 смертей мужчин так или иначе связаны с влиянием алкоголя. Это особенно убедительно проявилось в 1980-е годы, когда временно были введены ограничения на поставку алкоголя на Север. Алкоголь для коренных малочисленных народов чаще всего выступает не как следствие каких-либо явлений, а причиной многих отрицательных явлений в жизни, в том числе и в области демографии. Всё это убедительно показывает необходимость проведения
политики отрезвления.

Alcohol and Demography
of the Peoples of the North

Abstract
The research completed on the indigenous small-numbered peoples of the Middle Siberia revealed close relation of the alcohol policy pursued by the government to the demography of these peoples. The restrictions imposed on the alcohol products delivery to the North regions proved to have improved the demographic rates:
increase in the birth rate, decrease in the death rate, and improvement of other demographic parameters. In particular, alcohol influences the early mortality among males. Over 2/3 of males’ deaths are one way or the other
related to alcohol. This was especially obvious in the 1980ies when alcohol delivery to the North was temporarily restricted. The alcohol for indigenous small-numbered peoples often appears not as the consequence of some
events but the reason for many negative events in life, including the aspects of demography. These facts are a convincing proof of the necessity to implement the policy of sobering.
